1. Overview
JustTap respects your privacy. The app does not require account registration and does not sell, share, or transmit your parking records to JustTap or third parties for advertising, analytics, or tracking.
2. Information stored by the app
Depending on the features you choose, JustTap may store:
- Garage floor numbers and the date and time they were saved.
- Airport / Other location or lot names, spot names or numbers, shuttle stops, and optional level details.
- Recent location or lot names used to provide local suggestions. You can delete these names in the app.
- Parking photos that you choose to take.
- An optional latitude and longitude for floor or Airport / Other parking.
- App preferences, such as the last parking mode used.
This information is stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. JustTap does not operate a server that receives this information.
3. Camera and location permissions
Camera: Camera access is requested only when you tap the option to take a parking photo. Photos are saved in local app storage.
Location: Foreground location access is requested only when you tap the option to save your current parking location. JustTap does not request background location and does not continuously track you.
You may deny or later disable either permission in your device settings. The rest of the app remains available, although the related feature will not work without permission.
4. External apps and services
When you choose to open a saved location, JustTap sends the coordinates to the map app or map website you select. That service processes information under its own privacy policy. When you choose to email support, your email app processes the message. App Store and Google Play rating prompts are provided and governed by Apple or Google. JustTap does not receive your store rating through the app.
5. Retention and deletion
Parking information remains on your device until you clear it in JustTap, delete individual records or photos, or uninstall the app. Device backup or transfer features controlled by your operating system may include app data according to your device and account settings.
6. Security
JustTap uses the private storage protections provided by iOS and Android. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should avoid saving sensitive information in free-text parking fields or photos.
7. Children's privacy
JustTap is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not create accounts or transmit parking records to us, we do not maintain profiles of child users.
8. Changes to this policy
If future versions introduce cloud backup, analytics, advertising, accounts, or other services, this policy will be updated before those features are released. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
